About Us
We are a multi-award winning team of over 100 engineers, designers and analysts based in Leicester, with development hubs in Ukraine and Spain. We specialise in bespoke software development, extended teams / staff augmentation and support as a service.
History
Evolved Ideas is part of the Evolved Group.
2007
Founded as Evolve IT Consulting Limited in 2007 as an IT Consultancy.
2015
Colette Wyatt joined Evolve as CTO and Evolve began building their own rebate management product e-bate. Evolve expanded into other sectors including automotive, pharmaceutical and retail.
2018
Evolve moved into startups, fintech, medtech, foodtech, edtech and proptech. Evolve Consultants acquire Pug IT in Ukraine and increase team to 30+ developers and designers.
2019
Evolve created a separate spin out company, e-Bate, and received over £6m in investment from Mercia Asset Management.
2020
Colette instigated a Management Buy-Out to become the majority shareholder in Evolved Group.
2023
Evolve IT consultants rebrand to become Evolved Ideas. The Evolved Group is formed with three divisions. Evolved Ideas, Evolved Teams and Evolved Support.
2024
The Evolved Group acquire e-bate and team increases to over 90. Evolved Ideas partner with Secret Source in Spain to increase their Extended Teams capability. The team passes 115 developers, designers, analysts and support staff.
2025
Evolved Ideas expanded its European footprint through the acquisition of Secret Source, a well-established software development company based in Gran Canaria. This strategic move brought together complementary expertise, strengthening delivery capability and creating a more integrated, cross-border technology offering across the UK and Spain.
2026
Following the acquisition, Secret Source officially transitioned to Evolved Ideas Spain, aligning fully under the Evolved Ideas brand. This marked the completion of the integration, unifying teams, services and delivery models to provide a consistent, scalable offering across all regions.

Our Community
As a company, it is our responsibility to help our community whenever we can. We actively support our team and their families in Ukraine and are actively involved in promoting employment opportunities for the next generation of the workforce in Leicestershire.
Charity Work
With many of our team based in Ukraine or displaced from Ukraine we have wanted to help the Ukrainian community as much as we can. We have sponsored over 20 families and helped them relocate to the UK and we continue supporting our team and families in Kyiv.
