How e-bate Built an MVP and Raised Over £6.7m in Funding

About e-bate 
e-bate is the world’s first SaaS-based Rebate Management Platform, designed to empower decision-makers with swift control over their rebate management processes. This innovative solution transforms the way businesses handle contracts, reconcile data, and analyse customer and supplier relationships to maximise margins.

e-bate’s goal was to develop a highly scalable, flexible, and easily configurable SaaS platform that could meet the diverse needs of end-users without requiring additional development work. To achieve this, they needed to quickly build a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and secure investment to bring the product to market.

The Challenge  
e-bate faced significant challenges in hiring qualified software development talent within the UK. The local talent pool was limited, and finding developers who were both skilled and willing to work with new technologies proved difficult. These challenges posed a significant hurdle in their journey to build the MVP and attract investment.

Evolve stepped in to provide a comprehensive solution, offering a UK-based CTO-as-a-Service, Solution Architect, and a team of .NET Developers, QA specialists, Scrum Masters, and DevOps engineers located in Ukraine and Spain.

By February 2020, e-bate had 13 full-time developers working within their Evolve-hosted teams in Ukraine and Spain, effectively addressing their talent shortage and enabling rapid progress.
